    Let me answer this a bit more completely actually. I've got VitSotU installed on my game and I've hit upon no problems. There shouldn't be any reason that the two would interact, the kobold race adds a new dungeon but apart from that doesn't do anything related to any other part of world gen. If you /do/ hit upon any problems running the two together, please let me know!

    Just so you know, I'm not dead. Just really busy. I have over 20 thing's I'm working on atm for this mod, hopefully I can get some done soon.

    Iron to T4 wolf blade, material names unsure.

    meat plant.. still working on that (I have the food icon, just not sure how to make it not look like bonebo)

    And like.. a large variety of blades.. I just have this weird perfectionist attitude about doing stuff and it's worse when it comes to doing sprites as each sprite represents a large amount of detail.

    Sorry, no offense, I can't speak for Capt' on whether or not tails should be included(not to put him on the hot seat), but at least for me, I don't think giving cutebolds a visible sprited tail will be on the 'to do list' anytime soon :(.

    It might happen, it might not, just don't get too hyped up :x. Just imagine that your cutebold has a tail, but it's always hidden behind him/her. Besites, their tails are so small that most people who draw cutebolds almost never draw them.

    I would suggest you check out the mod directory on this site, there are many species that have all sorts of neat bells and whistles. . :)

    Decided to try out this mod today. Was a very challenging start-up to say the least.

    However, after spending an hour or two as my Kobold, I had to quit for a bit. Checking the log file, there were two errors related to this mod:

    The Hunting Spear is not using the correct sound effect file pathway
    There is an issue with the quest "koboldhammeredironsword.gearup". "Unknown quest templates id" it says.

    Also, not an eerror but some of the quest windows are the incorrect size.

    The settlements are terribly broken on me, the first home with a fireplace spawns 10-20 times and the actual homes very rare, it's funny cause those bugged ones are empty and have a couple of brown dirt blocks next to the home

    Valley Herbs are gained either as a starting Kobold character, or you can rarely get the seeds as part of the Kobold Village lootings.

    Just wanted to check in briefly to let people know what is going on with the kobold mod.

    As of some time back, I haven't had time to work on modding. Working and being a doctoral student (along with planning a move and a wedding!) leaves relatively little time for fun and games (as you may imagine) and once I'm back from my various duties I tend to be too burnt to look at code. That said, there are theoretically still possibilities for the kobold mod.

    The first (and less likely to come about) is that I could end up coming back if my life becomes less chaotic. In that case, I'll try to update things back and get kobolds going again! To be honest, if I end up with time to play Starbound even I'll likely do little updates if nothing else. After all, I want to play as kobolds and I may as well share if I'm messing with things.

    The second option is that (like the kobold camp dwarf fortress mod this idea came from) I'm perfectly happy with someone picking up where I left off. My only request would be that Bucketlamp is properly credited as his work was indispensible in this. Hell, the kobolds were drawn by him and they are likely the biggest part of this mod!

    If someone does decide to pick things up, they should feel free to post here and/or send me mail on the forum and I'd be happy to help if there is weirdness in my code or anything.

    I've messaged Captain to see if I could take over the mod, I've already modified some of the files giving the kobolds their own personal ship, and I updated all the spears and daggers to be directional. I also fixed the name generation bug with it being too big to fit properly I'm just waiting on captain to reply.

    Hey folks!

    This talk of outposts stuff is having me all excited about what it means for upcoming Starbound things. I've got a little bit of time that I can put towards the mod and to possibly work with Wiredwrong on either passing the torch or doing some cooperative work! Hopefully that will mean kobolds running again. Wiredwrong, would you rather talk here (for +hype) or in messages?

    I know the last version of the kobold mod was a it spotty with stuff, sounds like Wiredwrong fixed up a couple of the issues in a way that could likely be shipped off as an update, but were there others? Perhaps the next version can be a quick bug-fix to get things running again.
