The first floor is just as dim and grimy as the lobby. Their is another staircase going up. The building seems to be several stories tall.
Desiring a decent 'nest' for sniping at any of the incoming ILE troopers, or at least a location that would make it more difficult for them to get to him and the rest of the crew, Timberwolf continued the assent, maybe looking for an apartment that was not in use?
On the second floor, one door was slightly ajar, however it had one of those annoying chain locks that prevented it from being open fully. From the outside, it appears deserted.
Timberwolf shoulderchecks the door, in an attempt to break the chain, or at least rip it off its mounting.
-thery Thery winces when timber shoulders the door She takes out a small bag of thermite and a magnesium strip "Allow me"
{ Marco stays around the stairs, standing in the shadows ready to ambush any ILE trooper } " This will be fun.
The door's hinges and the chain make a weird noise, but other than that the door doesn't open much more. RIP door
(thermite is not an explosive. It is a powder that burns very very hot) -thery Thery ties the packet around the chain, and sticks the magnesium in, and lights it "This will melt the chain in a few seconds"
Aequi stands a short distance away from the door and aims the needler towards the staircase, making sure nobody is able to get the group by surprise.
"Yeah, I know what that stuff'll do; just make sure you don't burn the house down... or the better part of the block." Timberwolf stood back, shielding his eyes from the bright light the thermite would no doubt release.
-thery thery has not pulled her goggles down. she leans on the wall near the door with a sort of grin
The ILE seep through the market place, smashing down doors and working alarmingly quickly down the street.
Marching into the apartment. Timberwolf racked the 'bolt' of his railgun, and checked out the window that gave a good view of the street. "Someone make sure we've got a way out should we get flushed from this place. I'ma make sure that chopper doesn't give us any problems."
From the window, he could see the market place in front of the building. The helicopter was sort of just hovering around shining a spotlight, but two men inside were mounting machine guns.
Opening up the window just far enough to allow him to shoot through it, and moving a chair over for him to sit in, Timberwolf set up his railgun to point it out the window. Making sure not to let the muzzle poke too far out; didn't want to prematurely tip off the helicopter on what he was planning.
