Outdated Kineptic Race Mod 12-22-2015

Sounds a lot like the Felin respawn animation.

 

I wouldn't have known; I've never played the Felin mod. Mizucario provided me with this respawn animation. Well... Sorry, Mizucario. I really don't want to be accused of stealing an idea. I guess I'll have to come up with something else.

 

I don't know if Kawa would exactly accuse you of anything, though I hardly pay attention to respawn animations anyway.

 

I'm not concerned about kawa. It's other people. You know, the ones that go "ZOMG u stole that from the felins mod u jerk!"

Honestly, I don't pay attention to respawns either. But hey, it was there, so I figured I'd use it until I was informed of this. *Shrugs* C'est la vie.

 

You could change the animation to a bag or a top hat instead of a box. Either let the cat out of the bag or pull a cat from a hat.

 

Perhaps... but for now, I'll put it on the backburner and keep thinking about things like crops and moar furniture. Maybe if I keep spriting things, I'll get better and better until I'll be able to come up with something all by myself.

Problebly error on my side

 

I need to know the context in which it happened. Can you run the game with the mod? Do you have any other mods installed? What did you do to get this error? What is the error you're getting in the error log?

 

Crystal balls and Polished crystal....they come from actual crystal, right? So...how does one make them?

Nah, you make the polished crystal with glass and healing water.

 

I am become derp... Healing water is such a PAIN to track down, too...

 

So apparently, i took a look at the felin respawn animation just now and would say.
Yes they're both similar. ._.
But the way that they're animating is quite different.
Guess I'll just grab my friend to make a different one for now ._.

Edit : To be frank, checked the file date on my animation and message history, i found out that i did the respawn animation last February. :d

 

Really? I find it all the time on desert planets. But, just for those who do not like tracking it down, all you need is to spawn a kineptic merchant (I find it easiest to do this with a simple room filled with a light and 8 small storage crates) and buy it from there.

Don't worry about it--you don't need to make one unless you want to for your own use. In time, I'll come up with my own (hopefully).

 

I really wanted to contribute to this mod >3> and that respawn animation i did with my buddy was really cute and all. But damn, that's a bummer that someone already beat me to it.

Anyway, if anyone else wants it i can post it here or send it to you for private use ._.

 

I'm sensing something... it feels like a greater entity coming into play... I'm not sure what, though.
