RELEASED Kemono Race Mod 1.5

Yeah, I just tried it myself, got a villager from a completely different race mod. Curious indeed.

It's a stand-alone mod, but it may be conflicting with another mod. Someone more familiar than I with error reports might be able to tell you more.

 

that "1.4b" means the mod version or the game version? (my game is 1.0.5)
I think it is the problem...

 

I believe that's the mod version. It won't necessarily be the same as the game version. I have this mod through the Steam Workshop so unfortunately I can't troubleshoot the forum download version.

 

It does not work for starbound 1.0.4...Any fix coming up ?

 

There is a version up on Steam that works perfectly.

1. is this currently balanced and functional(doesn't throw errors)? It looks awesome, but would suck to have to delete my universe after a week because its unstable.

2. Can you make it so the racial crafting stations only show up for Kemono characters, rather than everyone? Other races have unique racial sets so it fits with the base game, also that would take care of any balance issues by just not picking the race, also if its part of a large roster of races and everyone adds global weapons/armor it will clutter up the crafting menu with a million redundant items.

 

I'd say it's pretty well balanced, and stable. I'm using the Steam version, but was using this before I learned it was on the workshop

 

I agree. I do think it's nicely balanced.

I installed this mod, and it seems that the Beam Katanas are not craftable? The crafting recipe is 18 Titanium and a level 2 Beam Katana, but there is no crafting recipe for the level one or two beam katanas, so none of the higher-level beam katanas can be crafted. Looking through the unpacked mod assets, it appears that the Level 2 Beam Katana requires Steel Bars for its recipe, which are no longer in the game.

 

When will the ship for this race, because it has been over five months?

 

I noticed a slight gramatical error with saying sturdy. being that it says study instead. Along with a missing comma between sturdy and small.
