Keep your "Holiday Spirit" items!

You never know, a discontinued item that's still in the game may be worth something. I have seen it in all games.

Since this game is still in beta, and a ton of people play it, just think in a year or two years, some of the items you have gotten in the past have now been deleted, but still in your inventory! If I were you, I would keep this "holiday spirit" item, in time they would be worth something!

And if I'm wrong, I'm wrong!

 

Don't worry, I'm sure, if they'll leave this stuff ingame, some crafty modmakers will be able to create a great mod for acquiring all the holiday stuff)

 

Don't ever expect there to be a functional cross-server economy in a game like this.

You will be disappointed.

 

1. It will probably remain in-game and continue dropping.
2. If they remove it from the game it will be removed from any worlds/characters and there's nothing you can no about it. Items removed from the base game either disappear or become "Perfectly generic items", the stand-in-item for broken item instances.
   
3. I can almost guarantee a wipe that will reset things and you won't have the item anymore.
4. Mods, mods, mods. If the items don't drop [but are still in the game] mods can remedy that.

Any preconceived trading value the items have is purely artificial. All it takes is a single mod and the item no longer has value as a currency.

 

Yeah I didnt think of that, oh well. I was just bored anyways and just willing to give some stupid advice or some sort of it.

 

They will likely all be deleted in a wipe soon anyway...
