    Just started playing 1.0...new character, asleep in the bunkbed, AI tells me to wake up, there is a quest I have to do, and ... no response to any keys, no mouse pointer, so my character continues sleeping. I had to use Task Manager to quit the game. I will try restarting Steam to see if it updates again.

    Edit: Restarting Steam, adding a few mods, and restarting the game fixed the problem.
