I stopped following/checking the forums in early October, I think. Just came back (months and months of no updates is painful) because I was looking at my Steam Library and saw Starbound in my list and wondered if there has been any 'stable' updates yet.
Welcome back! I think I joined around the time you left.. that was quite a while ago. However I stay in the forums these days not just to check on the progress, but because it's a community I enjoy being a part of. .. I don't need the game to get updates to be here hehe ^w^
Hold on, there's a stable update confirmed to be released very soon? I haven't read the devs blogs too carefully so I must've missed it O~o

I 'didn't'. Before I stopped coming, I had been following the forums for over a year before the 'beta' started. I didn't actually create an account until the sale of said beta, though. When I quit coming, it was mostly about 'Why isn't the stable here yet?' almost constantly.
