Edit: I wasn't sure how to spell that, but now that I think about it, Starhound or Star-Hound would probably be better.

 

On topic, the dog is adorable, though I hope it doesn't cause anyone too much trouble (my friend recently got a puppy and it destroys/pees on everything). My name idea would Luma, or maybe puddles, though I liked the suggestions of Chucklepup and Starhound too.

Her name should be 'Lev.'

It's both a Slavic and Hebrew name. In Slavic, it means 'Lion' and it Hebrew it means 'Heart.'

Big Ape.. but its not a puppy name! My Office dog is named like the codelanguage we use (his name is Phyton)

 

I'm gonna go board the "name the puppy" train. Call it Nero like my dog. But only if it becames 60 kg (or 132 pounds for you freaks out there) in weight. And he has to have the personality (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nero)

 

How about "Nebula" or something similar for the pup?
