Jump height based on isKeyPressed

    Hey starbounders. Firstly, great game. I'm enjoying it immensley.

    I was hoping that it may be possible to adjust the jump action. See the picture below as an example of what I am trying to explain:

    So say for example that I want to get onto platform B. As it stands right now I have to jump, which will put me on platform A, and then drop to platform B. This is because the jump button always jumps to full height. Wouldn't it maybe be better to stop ascending if the jump button has been let go? I ask because although the image above represents a trivial situation, it can become difficult whilst in combat , and in certain situation slightly annoying to navigate through tunnels and houses.

    TLDR; I propose that the game allows us to stop ascending when jumping when we let go of the space bar.

    Moving up and down is a little wonky right now and needs attention.
    This is a good variation that should be considered.

    I totally agree on this suggestion. I would love it to be; fast click = short jump, longer click = high jump.

    It just gets annoying to have that little extra air time when I know exactly where I want to go.

    I must be insane, because I thought this was already working.

    It sort-of works in reverse: you can control how far down you drop by releasing the crouch keybind.
