All you need to do now is add in generators and wiring to supply power to these types of objects so that it costs resources to run them.
now the turrets wil be even more usefull and more fun to play with the diffrend kind of weapons.i like it
Turrets idea - best thing ever to happen to any turret time weapons. Awesome as awesome can get : O. Progress and ideas keep on flowing, as for the beginning of the development I felt like I wasted my money on pre-order, but now as I see the awesome and well put ideas go in, I feel stupid. Good, frikin, job! Keep it coming : O I'd like to note tho, that I hope that "enemy", "friendly" tags will be put on correctly, so that turrets don't shoot your own NPC's, as it was (is?). :-V Also, please make sure that monsters doesn't spawn in closed areas (glass domes etc.) or buildings, as it beats the purpose of making our own outposts.
works for me too, but now... i've switched off admin rights and can't get any sources from the ground like dirt, cobblestone etc, is that normal?
OMG! The best thing about Starbound is finally here!!! I love TD games and this is gonna get people so creative ^_^ Now we just need monster spawning tools like those statues in Terraria
sure, i'm not so stupid to forget something like that activated manipulator and teleport, now there's only one choice with ai "repair ship's thrusters"
And digging doesn't work at all? How strange. I'll have to make a new character and see if it does it for me too edit: Interesting. Digging happens but the items don't drop when using the manipulator. Cutting trees still works though
with other players still can't do anything i can dig stuff but nothing drops on the ground when texture disappears and cutting trees works just fine as it have to be what the hell is going on...
really works, thanks manipulator seemed to be broken, well, all we can is wait for another nightly with another broken stuff, it's fun anyone knows, does the devs look discussion threads to locate bugs like this?
Indeed, I thought to be clever to protect my NPCs by building a glass dome around the complex, then birds spawned in it and killed all of the NPCs. Added turrets to do the protecting job for me, they turned out killing my NPCs. So indeed a friendly tag on NPCs avoiding turrets from killing them and no enemy spawings in own created enclosed environments like they do in Terraria as well.
