Looks good. Kinda a bummer that some of those clothes just look like recolors of already made clothes.
Look closer friend (but not too close! They're naked too)... Edit: Oh wait, I figured the green naked one were female for some reason, guess I found the pose quite feminine. My bad. But how would you figure a novakid to be male/female? The Extra pair of gas bags hanging from the chest?
Next to the Florians, the Novakids were the race that I was most looking forward to playing as. I can't wait for Cowboys in Spaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaace!
Really? [squints] Hmm... I'm not so sure about that. Most of them are wearing vests or have bare chests, too. Until I see confirmation that they have genders, I'm going to assume that they do not. Just because a plasma-based lifeform is vastly different from ourselves or anything on Earth, that difference doesn't necessarily preclude the possibility of gender or a biological reason for it. That difference merely makes it difficult for us to relate or understand. Usually, I have a pretty creative mind. And I can imagine natural selection reasons why plasma being or "gas bags" might also reproduce sexually. For all we know, there may be plasma-based diseases or infectious agents. And, as opposed to asexual reproduction which leaves a species weak to such, sexual reproduction could give them a better immune system. Alternatively, perhaps the Novakids started out as a fully gendered, fleshy, organic race and, like the Apex, scientifically engineered themselves to this plasma state? Or maybe they evolved to an energy state, like the Taelons in Gene Roddenberry's Earth: Final Conflict? However, a complete lack of gender suggests that the species reproduces asexually - meaning each member is both male and female. That'd make them a lot like the Floran, especially since the plant-like Florans are also vastly different from the other animal-based spacefaring species.
Ok let me resume this: after nearly 1 year of being in Phase 1 (which doesn't seem to be nearly over) of 3 Beta phases -> already began to finish things that were supposed to be added some time after "full release". What the hell? Where are the priorities?

Ok two things. I like that your working on nova kids... BUT. The sprites. I mean like, . I was expecting better sprites. (sorry if that's rude) I mean like , the mod has better sprites then that. (Again really sorry if that's rude) So maybe can you use the sprites that the MODDER made? I mean really that armor is like... I mean just it's . Its just . (sorry if that's really rude) But I mean like seriously, you could do better then that. So ya...
