    Ooooo, tentacles are always a good thing, my lord Cthulhu approves. Also an empty race slot eh...Agarans, has to be, there is something up with them and I suspect this gate may provide a clue.

    Cool. I'd love to be able to,for instance, stumble across a (probably rare) underground portal that might lead to another planet on a far away part of the galaxy... no way to know what's on the other side without taking the plunge. It would make underground exploration all the more awesome, and, perhaps, you wouldn't even realize what sort of new planet you were on if the other gate was also underground. Ah, the mystery!
