I wonder if it has occur to anyone that you can use this to go for other (supposedly?) single characters like Emily and Clint?

 

Clint would break the workshop, you wouldn't be able to upgrade tools/process geodes so if you were fine with that, then yeah, you could do it with them most likely. The theory is the same so I imagine it would work with any NPC but I can't confirm it.

 

I thought it was the counter square in front of Clint that allows you to upgrade your toolsl although sensibly it would be weird to do upgrade request without him being at the counter.

 

I can do some testing and see what happens.

 

As someone with a military background and how has seen wives and girlfriends dump their serviceman for sad and trivial reasons, I have to say I personally never considered Jodi as an option. It also amuses me as "Jody" is the generic name given to the guy banging the serviceman's lady while he is away.

That said, I do get that this is a game and you people are insatiable and that just tickles me pink. Especially the esteemed Afterscore of the legendary legal office paving the way to marital bliss for all. Personally, the Kent dying scenario would be my way of having Jodi available. Until then I will just wait for Afterscore to find away to let me build my own harem. I mean polyamor mod. Maybe we could move into the Community Center. Plenty of room there and since the PC is the one to fix it up why not?

 

Heh, yeah..that's why I suggested that method of making her available. I'd feel horrible actually TAKING her from a military man. =x

As for polyamor...yes plz, though honestly...you'd need a "bigger house" mod fist most likely, haha. As for having your family live in the community center in that case...then you'd have to travel even further just to get to your farm every day. =\

 

If you want to start asking 'why?', I'll start to wonder why I'm up early watering 98 blueberry plants by hand this AM, and once that starts the game is over! But peace... it's all good.

 

Or 72 melons/cauliflower/pumpkins so you can get a big chance of the super versions?!

 

I'm starting to regret my fascination with Jodi. She's incredibly picky and not very gracious! My real-life lady has spoiled me...

 

I once had a RL crush on a married woman. But that was quickly shattered when she decided to be a total cow when she found out. It's a minefield I tend to prefer to avoid.

I just say it takes time to get to know a person, so the pace of the game's friendship/romance system is pretty good in those regards and that fact it's not till higher levels of friendships that the characters ease up and show themselves better to you is much more realistic.

 

Dating a PTSD soldier is actually a lot less fun than it sounds. I wouldn't recommend it too much.

I mean, the decision/convo could actually have NO bearing on the scene that causes them to become single, after all. It could have nothing to do with you, just...that you "wanted" them...so they "became available" by some means that wasn't actually your doing. ^^

Just saying...it doesn't HAVE to really be homewrecking. Also, couldn't Demetrius be a homewrecker too? I mean, he's a stepdad, after all...WE DON'T KNOW THE SITUATION BEFORE THE GAME STARTED! =p
