Jetpacks.

I've loved gliding since gliding with knuckles in STH, and I would love to see your art on my post! When you make them can you PM me the thread, or the pics, or whatev

 

I d love to see jetpacks in game

but then would the jetboots minimize fall damage???? or would it glide back to the ground???

 

Could there be differnt kinds. EX: One that runs on water (steampowerd), on lava, solor powerd, gas, plants? (just sayin), maybe energy from killed monsters or robots?

back to jetpacks, jet boots would probably as the name implied, boots with jets on them, which would then run out of fuel/battery at some point. You'd need to apply them gently to hover/glide or make a parachute

 

ok, so you'd just jump higher? and then you get other stuff with reduced fall damage etc

 

Reduced fall damage would be a must, jump packs wouldn't be much fun if you took fall damage every time you used it.

 

I hope it's not like the wings in Terraria, if you fall whilst you have them equipped, they stop fall damage. I would prefer having to use the pack to slow myself down before my legs get splattered all over the surface of a planet then I have to get John the space janitor in to clean it up.
(He only works on sundays)

 

thats a great idea. But i think they should be kinda rare. They dont go with the whole theme i guess. But i wouldnt mid seeing those

I think that the Jetpacks should be fueled by the player's energy pool (like energy weapons, yes).

 

By the looks of things, jetpacks are probably implemented. Great idea though, I'm concerned why no one else posted an idea on one.

 

I like the idea.

There should be water jet packs, Lava jet packs, air jet pack, cat jet pack that would be boss.
