Jelly Beans

I just wanted to ask you all if you think there should be some sort of jelly bean item/ingredient in Starbound? It would be used for low-level health potions, painting, and other sorts of useless uses. if you think I should go die in a fire, please vote so above. (I'm bored, so sorry.)

 

I think it'd make more sense as an item rather than a block.

I like jellybeans, they seem like a rather useless addition to the game that would be sorta fun. Maybe not essential to the release, but I wouldn't mind seeing them a little ways down the road.

Whenever I hear the phrase "jelly beans" I immediately want some. Nevertheless, we must have jellybeans! Or maybe Space Jelly Beans?

 

Whilst it's quite general, un-elaborated and simple, I love jellybeans and it would definitely work well as a health consumable.

As "duh hilarious LOL" as this suggestion may seem, I don't see the point of this.

 

Yeahno. They would be the vanity items of the food world. Vanity items suck.

But if anyone wants to gift me an unusual on TF2 or something I'm fine with that.

 

You're going to love Starbound then, since we have full vanity slots in the inventory and equipment areas.

As for the actual suggestion, I don't see much of a point to it but its not like I would mind seeing them in game.

 

I'll just sell/destroy/stockpile any pure vanity items I acquire.

 

I just hope they wont be the kind of jelly bean I made in Spore... Smallest ball I could make, red and white and with every trait raised to maximum (everything was hidden under them and so was hidden underground since they had no legs). They turned out to be over agressive space invader hell-bent on the destruction of all that existed. And they had to stand on a little block to make them show up in the diplomacy screen. Scary to see a bunch of jellybeans wiggle their way at surprising speed at a much larger foe and proceed to eat it on the spot after brutaly murdering it.

 

Guys....why have Jelly Beans when you can have Jelly Babies!

 

Better idea: Every flavor beans! They have a completely random effect on the player!
