Haven't seen Shotte in a good while. He used to frequent our server though. Maybe he will make a reappearance?
Nice to see I'm welcome on the server when Starbound releases. Can't wait to see all the amazing features this game will have.
Well one challenge will be hosting the open PvP and building server. In Terraria I had TSHOCK which gave me good flexibility in protecting certain creations. I am sure someone will eventually get around to creating the tools I need. I think for the start I might make a serious effort to import/clone the classic Jaynestown starting point. Lots of possibilities; Starbound seems natural for "Firefly" war themes.
It will more than likely take a few days or maybe weeks before any third-party programs are available. Do keep in mind, however, that Starbound will have more multiplayer support built in-game, unlike Terraria. The devs here have focused on this aspect, so I'm sure something similar to Tshock will be available from start.
I am hoping for a limited number of anti-build options just because open PvP brings out the best and worst in people. Lots of cool and creative PvP forts and strategies coupled with some of the most annoying griefs. I assume at some level we will be able to back up our own servers by saving a copy of the map. At the very least that will allow file reversions.
I guess I might join in for a more permanant slot. I don't have any guarantees yet as far as servers, but I know a couple friends that like it here. (Luci, Stereo, Fire Mage, sniperops)
The day draws closer everyone. While you wait on Starbound, our Terraria server is back up to help ease the pain of waiting. 75.129.145.46
I know this was posted a long time ago but Shotte recently contacted me in Terraria. I think he is planning to play in Friday's PvP.
It's been forever since I posted in here. S'pose it's best if I reaffirm my interest in this thing before I forget again. Is your Terraria server exclusive or is it kind of there for anyone?
