Wall jumps? I can totally see myself using that for mountain climbing in the wilderness. Good things there's always those premade walljumping shaft conviently placed for you.

I really like the direction you are going with the techs. Its nice to hear you are giving variation on basics.
WALL JUMP! WALL JUMP! WALL JUMP! Seriously, it'll be like Mega Man X all over again! That maneuver alone will add SO much mobility! And that's not saying all the other revamps weren't excellent in concept as well, although I'd like to test them out before passing final judgement. Consider me stoked for the next update.
Perhaps the Morph Ball variants could have a "Bind" setup instead of a cost, allowing us to stay at them for a lowered capacity for other actions like our chosen Jump Tech. Just a concept.
Somehow it is sad that some abilities will be removed from the game Tough, on the other side im excited for what comes and i am sure there are modders out there which are able to bring back the abilities if needed Like Blink and Skyhook for example, i couldnt terraform a whole planet without a trusty skyhook.

Well time to wait till this update gets into the stable phase, then wait on the mod Chozo to update to same version. Nuff said.
I'd be happy if wall jumping, sliding and dashing were part of the default movement that you get from the start. Techs make more sense for things that are... you know... tech based. Like shinesparking, sonic ball, teleportation. I'd also appreciate if techs drew power from their own energy pool, so they don't share precious weapon energy.
It may just be me, but I've never actually taken the dash tech because I always find myself accidentally dashing off a ledge or something similar, when trying to do precision movement or jumping. Is it possible in a future update to make another way to activate dash outside of double tap?
It's frustrating, but I can find no way to upgrade the MM either. And it makes for damn slow mining and and almost impossible tree farming. I now /admin fishaxe or superfishaxe, but note superfishaxe doesn't drop anything and neither drops ore when mined. I just assume they have something else in the works...
