Its the cute ones that gets ya!

Anyone else find themselves mauled to death by the cute monsters? You never expect them to be the aggressive ones until they've torn you a new one!

 

I generally expect everything to be hostile.

 

The tiny shits from the sewers, they LITERALLY instakill you, no matter armor, no matter antyhing.

They'll just watch you die.

I had some really cute passive mobs on one world. They had four spider legs, and they kinda looked like deer. I was glad they were passive. The most hostile I've seen tend to be really ugly.

 

It seems like 90% of the "cute" ones are hostile blood thirsty beasts, while 90% of the hostile looking ones don't argo at all, so now whenever I see that "cute" little fluffy creature I kill it instantly taking no chances, while as the hostile looking ones I aproch carefully and see if they are hostile before attacking, and birds, birds seem to fall under the 90% chance of being hostile so either avoid getting close to them or kill first ask questions later.

 

And this is why everyone has trust issues...

 

Oh i was thinking that i was the only one that was thinking about this, and ya, normally the ugly ones are pasive, and good looking ones are agresive, that logic x.x

I once saw a really mean looking monster with a bloody axe for a tail that was passive. It did look kinda derp though so it's possible that it's blood from others or itself...

 

Yes. This. It's always the cute ones. The most nightmare inducing creatures are almost always friendly.

 

I also expect anything to be hostile first, no matter what it looks like.
The most disturbing creature was a neat and cute looking pink...whatever vomiting blood to kill me. x.x
But there were both cute or horrible looking creatures being aggressive.

I was exploring a planet and saw these cute, pink, flower-headed, Pikachu, Monkey things.

Killed me in seconds.

The ugly passives want for your godayum attention. They feel alone and discriminated and want to prove otherwise.
