Closed "It's Party Time" issue

    I seem to have a problem with the "it's Party Time" mission. From what I can tell, everything seems to work fine until I reach Nuru. After she completes her conversation, she proceeds to turn around and run into a gate that refuses to open.

    I went into admin mode, and the gate seems connected to an inaccessible lever underground. I assume that some sort of scripted event is supposed to open the gate, but nothing happens and the gate remains closed.

    I'm having the exact same problem. I tried to go around and find a way to activate the gate without the use of Admin Mode; but to no avail. I tried turning off every light, killing all the monsters, anything that would remotely have a chance to do it, but couldn't.

    I also tried to restart the mission (Turned off Starbound, waited five minutes) and the same issue happened. I jumped onto some spikes and killed myself and went back to the mission. Nothing happened. At one point, Nuru gave her dialogue and simply stood in front of the door instead of even jogging into it in place, so I took a nap in her bed. Then, Nuru repeated the dialogue 3 times before I just left the mission and went off to try to find something else to do within my available systems.

    I haven't played this far into a Nightly character before on account of my characters usually getting deleted, but I'm not sure why the lever was moved to a remote inaccessible portion underground. Maybe the lever is supposed to flip on completion of Nuru's Dialogue, but falls short somehow?

    I saw a video of an older version of the mission on Youtube, and that's exactly how it's supposed to work. The gate's supposed to automatically open when she starts to run towards it. I think the lever is there to keep the gate locked, and it probably gets activated by a scripted event once the conversation is done. At least, that's my theory, anyway.

    I've also encountered this issue. It seems that Nuru is trying to move too far; if you use admin commands to remove the gate, after she passes the gate's location, she DOES flip the switch. I'm tempted to try and patch the script, but I've not looked into the syntax enough. If you unpack the assets, the relevant bit is in behaviors/sequences/floranmission/floranmissionstart.behavior .

    Just re-tried that mission. Same thing, had to admin out. Noticed no one had put a log that's why I tried. Here is the log so the devs can see it.

    What command did you use to remove the gate?

    Okay, so using admin mode I removed the gate and continued through the mission. As it turns out, there are several other gates, trapdoors, and even lights powered by switches that are inaccessible and not activating.

    So, I continued on through the mission anyways as normal to see if anything else was wrong. I noticed one enemy was unable to move and was stuck jogging in place, while at the end, the last trapdoor that opens to the boss was stuck closed and I could not activate it. Using the wiring tool, I found that the gate and trapdoor were hooked all the way to the inaccessible switches at the start of the mission, and to three of them, at that. I will post screenshots later of the other lever and button, and of how everything is wired up.

    Steam downloaded an update about 4 hours ago, and that seemed to fix the issues I had with the mission. I had no problems progressing this time.

    I can confirm that the issue appears to be resolved with the assets for August 23rd.
