Items others have but don't seem to be available to the rest of us

Hi-

I spent sometime today visiting multiplayer servers. I want to know how the get the items they have...such as a microwave. I googled it and it says they come from the human villages which I was told have not been released yet. How do they get these rare items?

 

My guess? The files are there for the items even if the items themselves don't show up in the game yet. Mods can use those files and add the items now.

 

Microwaves are from uscm underground bases.

I dont know what other items you mean, but some people use mods....but then again I imagine you wouldnt see them if its on a server.

 

stuff like hylotle items are modded in and are useable to everything
also contest winner hats and other misc that arnt in the game yet

 

other things I saw...was a vendor that carried every hat and dress up item you could imagine...

If anyone knows of a mod to be able to get these items please let me know

 

Sounds like you went on a very nice person's server. Too often I just hear of griefing and thieving... as if any of the "stuff" is worth taking.

 

Go to the Mods directory, I believe that is called the Vanity Chest.

Yes you were not aloud to build or mine...but I saw the nice items they had
