Nice mod, but I got 2 problems:

My guards (Guarding'Bots from Gardenbot mod) trying to attack frame when it displays weapons or shields.
Defense Turrets also attack them.

When I put Hunting Knife in it, frame stops displaying anything, I have remove it from wall to "reset" and make it displaying other things again.

Fixed the Hunting Knife problem, though it displays a little off like many big swords. I'll fix that later, but it's a problem that needs a bunch of custom logic to adress.

When it comes to guards attacking your items, though, there's nothing I can do. I need to spawn custom monsters to render the weapon parts properly, and the AI on the guards/turrests is too crude to deal: they attack anything that says 'monster', regardless of its hostility or ability to be damaged. Blocking line of sight with a door or wall may be necessary.

 

Oh nice, I really like this mod. Any plans in the future to have different frame color options?

 

Yeah, and maybe different behaviors based on what's in them. I'd like frames to miniaturize weapons like their icons, and a different holder for full sized ones... some frames which vanish when something's in them, so you just see the item. Stuff like that.

 

This would explain why the marines are always killing the robots in the USMC bunker now. Which implies that there will be a 'friendly' modifier or workaround at some point in the future, but not now.
Thanks for this mod! I've been wanting something like this for a while. There's the blank floran hunting trophy mount already in the assets that has just been teasing us.

one request if i may....

make stands for placing on tables
think it'd look cool having a katana or a batleth on a table for display
same basic concept but maybe halved and given the bottom anchor rather than the background

first of all thx for this rly cool and usefull mod.

i have a small sugestion / idea :
what about mix item frame with ship locker ?

the item frame would be integrated to the ship locker so you have a slot to place and show what item you stock in.
it would save some space on wall and probably look fancier.

if you think it's possible i can maybe help you at making the sprite, i have some pixel art skills....

The crafting table doesnt work. when I click E, it just crashes my game P.S. I am using Spirited Giraffe

 

Well that's likely the problem. Your game is two whole versions out of date.

And since the earliest version is for pleased giraffe I think you'll have to update your game if you are too use this mod as its set to utilize items that have been added to the game after spirited giraffe.

And on that note why haven't you updated your game yet? If you don't mind me asking.
