I noticed while building in my ship, and breaking chests to move items, that if I left the items on the floor for a couple seconds, they would vanish completely, much to my dismay, as I lost several valuable items, and was very annoyed. The item despawn timer NEEDS to be extended, as it is around 30 seconds. Maybe in your ship, Items never despawn if dropped or last a long time, dropped Items should last AT LEAST 2-3 minutes while on a planet/moon surface. I had no Idea that the timer was this low, and I think it will be a problem if not extended.
