Delzin nods, standing back up again " I think we should get some sleep. Or what little we can. " He fishes that blanket out of his bag, offering it to Iris
She takes it. "We should probably get off the deck if we intend to sleep." There was a single box of 16 shells in the cupboard as well. At the top of the stairs he finds himself in the same place as before.
Eventually, he finds himself at the city's edge. The place seemed devoid of life, or unlife for that matter.
Looking out of the city he could see what used to be suburbs. Now it looked more like a desert of ash.
Looking out of the city, he could see only the ashlands, looking in, only the remains of office buildings, restaurants, and various stores. No warehouses were in sight. There was a staircase that led to below the deck, just next to the door to the cabin.
There was one not too far from him, most of the windows and doors on the place had been smashed or otherwise broken, and the top half was leaning heavily. It looked as though it might fall down any minute. Arriving at the bottom of the stairs he finds Iris already there.
He hides his pack under some garbage in a nearby alleyway to lighten his weight, then heads into the office to begin looting.
It looked how you would expect, a small reception area with a few hallways leading to different rooms and floors. Only it was all ruined, garbage everywhere. Things were broken here and there, pretty messed up overall.
