Issues with Mining Facility Mission

    Hello, Currently doing the Erchius Mining facility mission to get the crystals for my ship. The issue im having is when i get the "end" its a big crystal boss. Ive ran this 4 times now and ive looked everywhere. Anyone have any idea what im missing?

    confused.... When you usually get to a boss you fight it or figure out how to go about defeating it...

    I've heard trying the switches might help, what ever that means; I haven't fought that boss yet as when I ran through that facility it did not exist. I been on unstable. But from the sound of it from others, it has something to do with the switches.... That is if you are wondering how to damage or rid the boss... Can't really go into detail til I fight it myself...

    No i explained it wrong lol, Im looking for some drill or something, or some way to get these 20 crystals. All i keep finding is this big crystal boss thing. All the videos i watch show finding the drill but im having no luck. Is there a way to refresh my starbound data to maybe fix this without losing my character?

    You have to hit 4 switches around the room. When you get all four switches, there is a canon at the bottom. The mission is practically impossible due to FPS issues after the first attack.

    Is killing this crystal boss a part of finding the drill? or the 20 crystals i need?

    Ah see thats what was confusing me. okay. In a video i watched online for this quest it just shows him jump down the steps and hes at the drill, does not show him fight the boss and then find the drill[DOUBLEPOST=1422574436][/DOUBLEPOST]Thanks for the answers everyone!

    yup like darklight says that was the version I myself played, which was before the boss was put in.... Reason I only know it had something to do with switches is due to people like above mentioning it about the boss fight.

    So yes you will have to fight the boss in order to advance in that mission. After the boss I would assume it would be similar to the end of the video, I think. I really aught to just run through that one again so I can see for myself personally. ><

    Anyway I am glad everyone else followed up with what I was getting at. Thanks yall. :)
