Soz for starting a flame war, I'm just saying. You can tell how decent a dev team will be based off their stage 1 beta, and this has been bad so far

 

You aren't sorry you started a flame war. You walked into a forum that's already rather turbulent, threw rather nasty accusations at the Devs, made false claims (Terraria's been out for a long, long time), showed you have no actual knowledge of this game, Terraria, or the people who made it, or contributed to it.

You aren't sorry at all, and even following right after your "apology", you throw more crap at the devs.

 

Your knowledge on Terraria is shocking to say the least. Tiy is not in Terraria team at all anymore, nothing of Starbound is related to Terraria in any way. Secondly Terraria is still getting updates even though T2 has been rumored about, and that's all, just rumors be it from Redigit. 1.2 update came some months ago, christmas update is coming shortly, and 1.3 update is coming after that. Then we don't know how many more updates follow that, if any.

OT: The work this team has put in has been tremendous, as someone already stated, 2 years work so far. 1st stage Beta has already been said to be hella buggy throughout, I would suggest waiting till stage two buddy!

 

Oh wow lets start basing our judgements on game devs over a game thats not even completed yet, that will totally be valid

I don't like responding to these but im sorry, games are hard enough to develop without blacklash like that, even the moneygrab games takes time and effort to make

 

This hasn't been bad at all, if anything this is your box standard Beta testing.

I've always said to people/friends of mine, there are 2 types of Beta:

Type 1: The "EA" Beta, where it's actually just a demo of the game but they call it a beta to excuse the amount of bugs that are still in the game.

Type 2: The "True" Beta, where the developers actually admit the game has bugs/problems and will work with the community to fix them and also add new parts to the game to make it more enjoyable.

So far I've seen Type 2 when it comes to Terraria, but sadly a majority of those who play games today think of beta's as a Type 1.

 

This game is worth plenty more than the 14 euros i invested in this.

Nope, I caught it too. He obviously wasn't around for the huge updates before 1.2 (nor for the outrage after Red announced he'd stop making new content for a while).
