Can I change the intensity of a light source to limit the block radius the light goes? And since we're talking about lights what additional things I could do with it?
To change the intensity of a light, just darken or lighten the color of the light. You can use an image editor (or an online color picker) to change the saturation (S) and value (V) of a color to make it brighter or darker. This is determined by the "color" key of a light in JSON (e.g. "color" : [0, 45, 255]). It's a really great resource, and I would recommend anyone to check it out (mainly because I don't know a lot about lights).
