Is there a point to building a house?

    I ONCE built a nice little community aboard my ship, a doctor, a tool and weapon spawner, two guards and a citizen. It was nice up until I accidentally hit someone with my sword and the two guards decide murdering EVERYONE in order to take me out was a priority. Gunfire raged across the ship and wheb the dust settles I was alone again.

    because starbound is not nice, and nothing it does is nice
    my house LOOKS nice, but its actually a walking robot with death rays all over (that should keep them from finding me)

    If you think that your ship won't be wiped and/or your character, I think you are simply too trusting of these devs...

    It's going to happen. Sooner or later, it will need updated beyond the current limitations.
