Is their new races?

So anyways i was wandering around a jungle planet looking for avian stuff and i rand into a huge desert/bone area (so huge that not a single avian thing was able to spawn horay!)

but anyways i came across these two race thingies


1 weird bone people
they hate everyone and everything and live in bones
they only use spears as weapons
i found them again on a different planet in an underground bone biome

2 cute prime tier rabbit things
i think they are new to the solar system or something
like stone age guys
they didnt attack me and they are adorable and i want one as a crew member

anyways i was wondering if their was more info somewhere about these guys i coudnt find anything on the wiki

is their lore about them?

i want to see lore about them...



please note that this is all in vanilla for i dont use any mods



also now that i look at the second guys

they might be snake people which is even cooler

 

ah

fenerox are adorable and i hope they get more stuff

i dont like them just being random dust bunnies in the desert

they deserve more in their weird rabbit lives



im not that content with the bone people being crazy florans

florans are already tribal and crazy

the bone guys took it too far

 

There is a mod that makes them playable, but I dont remember if its been updated for 1.0, in case you wanted to try them out (mostly a visual mod of the Fennerox) I am unsure about the skelly people... they might be florans... or maybe just skeletons, cuz video games

 

They arent actually all florans.

I ran into one that was 100% a human and another that i am almost certain was an Apex.

 

The Fennerox mod has been updated for 1.0, but it's missing a few things yet, like a ship. Seriously, you get the ship interior, but none of the exterior of it is there, giving them a very odd home base... Also it's on the Steam Workshop as well, if you prefer to DL it there.

 

Oh ho! perhaps there is more to the skelly men than meets the eye? intriguing!

 

I think these "skelly men" are actually just psychos or maybe even cannibals.

quite frankly i dont think they really fit in with the game

maybe with the biome but not the game


maybe if they were like the erchius tainted miners or something but instead of becoming a crystal squid they went crazy because of one of the bosses in the game

perhaps they are followers of the bone dragon?

 

Well, I'm not particularly sure why you're calling them "new", they've been around for a long time. They're just more common now.
