Is the Jeep still a thing?

Hi guys!

I noticed there was a jeep being driven in one of the screenshots from a pre-Upbeat Giraffe dev update on the front page, and I've heard it takes the form of a tech. While I've maxed out the ship's upgrades and finished all the quests, I don't have access to this tech. Is this something I need to physically find and collect, has it been removed from the game/not implemented yet or am I missing some other factor on this one?

If it's something I need to find, has anyone got any advice on where to start looking (if there even is anywhere specific)?

It is currently not a thing. Many things are no longer things. They decided to tweak with the Techs available and I think forgot to plug a few back in.

 

Ah, that's a darn shame, it looked like a ton of fun to use. Thanks for the prompt response.

 

It's still in the files, but it's still not obtainable without editing/cheats. It's not particularly great though, basically your character is a little faster and you can honk a horn.

 

It will likely make a return once they make real vehicles (they plan for them not to be tech's).
