    The races are all the same and are staying that way. Bonuses are suppose to be on gear.

    You can't get the survival system till tier 4. At the moment the only gameplay differences between the races is their starting cooking recipes. Some races can craft healing foods easier than others. Although finding a food vendor or chef spawner makes that a moot point.

    No. No it isn't. They are basically just less ugly and less assassiny argonians.

    They have decided not to add racial traits to the game as a design choice since they are focusing quite a bit on multiplayer as far as I can tell and don't want people to all choose one race because it has an ability which is OP in combat.
    All the traits will instead be assigned to racial armour. The effects aren't implemented yet. :p

    I can see how despite how well they attempt to balance the races, there will be one that would clearly rule. Still, even with racial armors that anyone can wear, one set will still likely rule over the others.

    Since Floran armor is planned to give extra energy (or regeneration) in the sunlight, I can see how that would be a big boost for tech and gun users. As for Hylotl armor, I can't see underwater breathing and swimming speed being of much use in PvP.

    I'd be happy enough if each race could craft items from their own sets. I'd love to start off being able to make a nice Floran hut.

    Technically they all have water temples. Reason they aren't enabled by default.

    Ignore the glowing water. That isn't vanilla.

    I stand corrected with Hylotl racial armor bonuses. However, what about the Glitch's faster digging speed? Seems like bombs not make this bonus as meaningful, although at least with mining tools they can dig through player created blocks faster.

    The random appearing sand can easily be fixed. Ocean worlds use a liquid type different from the standard water. Here is what it looks like in liquids.config...
    Code:
        // EndlessWaterLiquidId
        "2" : {
          "name" : "ocean",
          "texture" : "/watertex.png",
          "flowAs" : 1,
          "blockGenerationChance" : 0.01,
          "connectedOnly" : false,
          "blockOptions" : [ "sand2" ],
          "drawMinimum" : 0.1,
          "color" : [80, 221, 254, 128],
          "bottomLightMix" : [0, 78, 255],
          "bottomLightMultiplier" : 2,
          "textureMovementFactor" : 8,
          "breathable" : "notBreathable",
          "endless" : true
        },
    Specifically the problem is the blockGenerationChance line. Changing that to 0, like how most of the other liquids are set up, will stop that. Then again, there are probably other reasons these biomes are not enabled yet despite being in the code.

    The sand isn't the problem. The fact that the dungeon is flooded is.

    There's a very easy explanation for that. The dungeon captain hit an iceberg, and you've found the Titanic!
