Is it possible to make a settlement like you again?

    I made a new character and upon some exploration, actually found an Avian settlement! After exploring the town for a few minutes, it became nighttime and I attempted to 'help' kill a monster. I accidentally hit a villager instead, and now I'm trying to see if it is possible to not be attacked and chased by the guards once more.

    I would say go and find another one, and be more careful next time. AI is pretty simple at the moment, therefore it is no difference accident or not. All that is known is death upon citizen so guards react accordingly.

    The only way is the kill the guards usually, and the citizens should leave you alone I would think... So to make this long answer short, no. There is not a way at this time far as I know.

    Yeah, I figured about as much. Which is disappointing. I did end up killing all of those birdbrain avian guards, so there's that. the NPC's run from me for a bit, but then I just wait for five seconds and they just return to business as normal. I'm glad, too, since I like the avian clothing sets.
