Is it just me or is the new monster ability "Gravity Slam"... a tad OP?

Cool as hell to see a tiny fluff ball/giant murder beast with that sort of power but... isn't them flinging you up to the point where you can be half way up a Avian Airship Anchor Chain a biiiit OP?
Started a new character and a monster on this level one planet can pretty much grind me to a dust with that move, they are one of those beasts that are everywhere too.

 

Unless there are more than one, ive never been lifted high enough for it actually do any damage... hell, i love planets with them.. makes it easier to scale tall cliffs.

 

idk man, was fighting a few beasties, 3 seconds later I'm high in the air trying to get my bow out, and another 3 seconds I'm on the ground with over half my health missing.

 

I don't think I've ever taken damage from that yet, but its used on me tons. Makes it easier to dodge.

 

A single such mob doesnt seem capable of dealing any damage, and funnily enough it also lifts up other mobs. Its more about being a control effect that makes you vulnerable to other mobs then being an actual danger on their own.

But i've sometimes been thrown much higher aswell. I dont know why, but it always involved multiple such mobs, doesnt always happen. But it seems that sometimes, these abilities stack somehow. Regardless, its never been lethal.

 

Naw, by itself the gravity slam thing is pretty underwhelming actually, Which is really only because you can only get massive fall damage if you fall from a extremely high area.
