Is Chucklefish dead?

Hollidays hit and hit hard for many across the land i'm sure it was no different for the good folks over at chuckle fish (who at this point deserved a good break from all the quick patches they were doing) but things have gone eerily quiet since the new year began.
My first guess is they're still reorganizing or that i missed a post somewhere on the forum about it all but they're usually pretty good at keeping us all updated on the progress in game and the posts bout what they're up to personally are neat too!

Mostly wondering if i just missed a post somewhere detailing an answer to this or if it's just a slow start to the year. Either way looking forward to continuing forward with the beta and love it so far (and yes the title is sarcasm)

 

Molly said the patch will be out this week. Also they post more often than you'd think, just oddly not on the official forum. They're all over reddit.

 

There are stirrings in twitter and other places, but mostly quiet on the site front.

Chucklefish is likely turning pale and cave-wo/man-ly from the lack of sun they're getting working on this major patch. If they don't have time to update us on what's going on, they must be pretty busy.

 

Bartwe just finished a live stream today actually. He counted in totally of fixing 16 bugs I believe.
It was pretty neat.

 

i think they do take breaks though, each day i game at least about 9 hours to 13 hours and never go outside and i'm still not pale

Check around other places. They're plenty active. Kinda.

 

Not even 2 weeks, are you serious? People have no patience these days. How did you miss their twitter feed on the site.

Chuck isn't dead. I got mad love for the 'fish! Just gotta be patient and know they're working on 10000 things at once!

 

Can't wait for the new update. I got finally time to play, but don't want to start new character just before character wipe patch hits live. They should update front page news more often, I find it weird that we hear news first from twitter and reddit.

 

You shouldn't, twitter and reddit are things easily accessed from a phone, however cannot do webpage design easy from a phone, yes? Shoot twitter you just yell "HEY @Name IS POOPING" and it's on your tweet feed thing pretty much!

 

I frequent the forums and post pretty often on my smartphone, sure i guess it's not as convenient as maybe twitter or reddit, but it's easily possible.

I wish Chucklefish forums supported tapatalk.

 

I am pretty sure that I've been here with tapatalk before I uninstalled the app.

 

They REALLY should post on the forum...
I don't know, take important part of the reddit/twitter patch it on a "about the next update" post or something.

I do ponder the logic of having official forums if they're basically going to avoid it and stick more to something like Reddit and Twitter and the like, especially since they also don't really update the main site at least semi-often. So recently anyone visiting these forums and the main site would think they're mostly dead. I mean, might as well just get rid of these forums TBH, since they update on reddit more.

 

I do miss the frequent front page updates of yesteryear ;> BUT, game production (especially bug quashin' optimization!) is much more valuable to me, even if I don't hear too much about it (I really only check the forums.. Maybe I'll start prowling around Twiddit more..
