Is Cheat Engine safe to use with this game in singleplayer?

VAC Does not connect with Starbound, that's a FACT.

It never will. No need to worry about it.



I say it never will, because I doubt Chucklefish is going to go out and get VAC on their game. They don't want players to be banned from their game for cheating.

They'll have some serverside system on individual player hosted/dedicated servers later on possibly that prevent cheating on servers, but as of right now, servers don't even have admin tools or settings beyond passwords. There is no way cheating is going to cause any issues at the moment.
