They could be used to hide objects or entire houses! I think they should work only if placed on all the possible entrances to a place and everything inside it could become invisible to enemies and players withouht a special radar!
They should look like block made out of glass but when hiding something they should bee invisible and immaterial(just touching them or entering this places should reveal all the treasures inside them!).

all i think about this idea is, Super Mario Bros Frustration
i would find that very annoying and painful to use
this idea is a no-no :fusrodah:

I think this would be cool in Multiplayer, but instead of having it be invisiblocks, I think it would be better if you just used some sort of invisible shield generator.

That way, it would cost energy, so it's not as simple as just placing all those blocks down.

so how would you get energy? solar panels? water wheels? seems realistic, i like that idea

Any way you get energy normally. Any of the above would work, assuming they're in game. Once that's done, all you need is some wire to connect the two.

agreed, this would be my preferred method as well.

Not only have it cost energy, but make it so that you can disrupt the shield generator via EMP pulses or electric-based weaponry. The way of the shield generator would work should cause ALL blocks in its radius to become invisible to everyone except it's creator, so if you see a random huge hole in the ground - it's probably a invisibility cloak.

Some sort of invisible thing would be fun.

It could be used strategically with PVP, multiplayer in general (for grief protection maybe?), and custom maps, if those will be possible to make, which I am assuming yes.
