first i will thank Sinark and is thread here for giving me the idea the following comes from a post i wrote in it but after contemplation, i decided to give my idea a little more view as sinbark only hypothetize about the idea while im directly doing an "introducing : [insert]" here are the pictures he posted himself to support this thread Rho's well known sprite a picture of rho fetalstar did. The sprite of a Rhoan male soldier, courtesy of Lotus Eater now that credits have been given, here's the main course : introducing the Rhoans ! the Rhoans from planet Wazza are an inteligent race named after theire goddess Rho. Rhoans are tall, pink haired, dark skinned humanoids with glowing blue eyes. It is said that the goddess Rho wore a purple jumpsuit at all time and as such, the color is considered holy for the Rhoans and that is reflected in theire clothing and other designs. Most Rhoans also have an innate passion for arts, especially the intergalactic art of "pixelization" which consist in creating detailed picture using only fairly sized colored squares. Rhoans are also a technologically advanced race with access to starships and other advanced technologies. theire ship design reflects a lot theire culture, feature squarish shapes with purple colored hull. Rhoan's both genders share fairly similar features as noted above, both being tall and slender in shape along with the caracteristic mentionned above along with usualy humanoid gender disctinctive feature such as increased muscle mass for the male and thin thight/wide waist for female. they both wear there hair long (relatively to human) with males usually having it shoulder lenght while females usually have theire hairs waist long, if not even longer. Some male ties theires for practical reason but most females dont. The average Rhoan is very well educated and often-time very attractive according to human criteria, which makes the Rhoans a very popular race across the galaxy. Rhoans in general also display a constant enthusiasm about almost everything, and discuss things they like with a fiery passion unseen in many humanoids. beware theire wrath tho, an angered Rhoan is a fearsome sight. Rumors want that some gifted individual might also possess psychic powers, but there nothing up to now to support this rumor. i hope you like it. i must note that as i wrote this, i grew increasingly attached to the idea and, by now, im totally with it and would really roll a "Rhoan" if chucklefish would sample the idea. heh, i can always dream p.s. to mods. i know ive already posted this in another thread but as a post in it. i wanted to give my idea more view so that its not lost in the middle of a thread but if thats not ok, feel free to delete/redirect it to my original post/idea on sinark's thread, fifth page
what do you mean ? Rho is a woman yes, is there any confusion with that ? err...would you kindly explain what that is suppose to mean...cause its awkwardly formulated right now
Even though the idea itself is far fetched, this is a very nicely written thread, I just suggest you to capitalize your "i"s next time. So they're intelligent humanoids, sounds like my type of race. Maybe you could explain on their Technology? All we know now is that they're intelligent, what have they achieved?
Oh! I meant no insult by it! I was just trying to say that I find the idea to be really fun. These sort of self aware author-insertion easter-eggish type things in games have always tickled my fancy. Sort of like in Star Ocean or Chrono Trigger where you can talk to the programmers and devs in secret rooms!
this isint a full fledged suggestion as its pretty obvious the idea wouldnt be kept or even considered for the game. Rho herself saif it would be somewhat to self-serving or obvious so i didint felt the need to elaborate THAT much on the concept. the goal was mostly to get a feeling for the people, adding too much more on the whole civilization/technology wasent needed really. yeah i like Rho a lot, she practice an artstyle that i love a lot. and yes, i know the name could be better, i was really out of idea and couldnt figure out something. on the live chat Ghostar had made puns calling them "Rhomans" and "Rholanders" good spriting ?! wow thanks took me so long just to do this thing. and it was really hard to do too. im happy to know people appreciate it

I approve of this race project! I shall even update my thread about the conspiracy of the Rhos/Rhoans/give them any name you want I don't care with this awesome sprite of Lotus Eater. I'll throw it in my intro post.
