Introducing the Glitch (Robots)

Definitely my favourite race so far. I already enjoyed their appearance, but now, combined with their backstory, go, go, Glitch!

 

Medieval robots? My kind of race!

 

I think this might be my choice of race because i love the concept of robots living in in a medevil casle setting. very quirky chucklefish.!!! Camz.

 

Ugh! I love ALL of the Races SO much! It'll be so hard to decide what to play.

I like it, honestly I do, it's very different from what I originally thought they were going to be.
I like the idea of them escaping from their other counterparts, it makes it seem more war oriented, and maybe that could be the beginning of a Glitch character... starting on a robot home world and then escaping from the crazy ones.

So does that mean that the faulty Glitch, are actually the CURED ONES?!

I'm pretty sure that only the faulty robots are called the glitch; the un-faulty ones aren't "glitchy" and thus aren't referred to as such.

 

No, "Glitch" is their name as a race. Like "Floran" or "Apex."

 

I like how the official art for the Glitch is from the wallpaper that Suika Ibuki made. I love the lore and art style they have (especially the robot-painting).

However this post makes me curious to know if that means we know what the Hylotl's are supposed to look like now too.

 

Yes, but Avian refers to the culture that hasn't died out do to a lack of technology, and the Apex that are intelligent. We're talking about races and cultures here, not species. The name "Glitch" is referring to the culture left behind in the past by the other robots.

That's how I take it, anyway.

 

I really, REALLY like this race. This is probably what I'll choose, but I plan on raiding an Apex lab for my decorations. Medieval castle with futuristic lab equipment mmmmmmmmm.

I want to play a faulty glitch one day soon.

 

IndentedThe name made me smile—anyone reminded of Bob's tool-device-thingy, Glitch, from Reboot? ^^—and the background is interesting, but there were enough errors snagging my attention to make it less than completely pleasurable.
IndentedIf it helps, I've enclosed in the following spoiler some suggested corrections in red. (Some items I'm unsure of and left alone.)

IndentedThe Glitch were part of a program invented by an unknown race of enormous intelligence; they were built as a means of simulating a civilization's social and technological progress.
