"Interesting" NPC

So I was trying out some of the /spawnnpc commands to see what they did when I found something... weird. I spawned two of them. The command was /spawnnpc apex apexslave. Here's what I found:


Two Apexes without pants. Has anyone seen these before and if so, what are they?

That's disturbing.
I knew they existed, but hadn't suceeded in spawning them before.

 

I did. I just spawned them in there in case they were hostile.

Also, there's another NPC type called the "Apex Slaver." I actually found some of those back in Enraged Koala.

 

There weren't any Apex slaves, just Apex slavers living in Glitch houses. Pretty sure they got deleted in Upbeat Giraffe. But yeah, maybe this has something to do with the Apex mission...

 

Well I must say I expected this, and a slave for each race for that matter. I am just hoping we will see them all tied to a special dungeon or something alike.

 

These slaves would make for a cool dungeon. Maybe even a mission. But wait... you expected each race to have their own half-naked slaves?!

 

Er.. Well not half-naked.. >///>.. Nu...

I mean like.. Erm..

Fack..

I ment like having slaves for each race because there is conflict from each race most likely having captured the others, or one, maybe the glitch?? Having captured one of each other species.

 

I don't with the whole Apex lore, the Miniknog Rebellion, and that jazz...

I'm just saying, pantless slavery seems like an understandable reason to start a rebellion.

 

Well, there is also /spawnnpc [insert any race] servant. This basically spawns any member of the race you typed in dressed in colourful rags begging not to be hurt or punished. I had fun with that one.

 

I'm pretty keen for any quests in general that add to the lore of Starbound.

 

I'll liberate you from an Apex lab =o

Then the Roo's will be born when you are free'd! *Hint hint*

 

And so the plot thickens...

 

and the life of the wolf and the roo continues amongst the stars.

 

Haha, mixed feelings, but feels nonetheless!
