Suborn as in the gods that the Avians worship. Although technically the Novakids were born from a sun, that is not their official name.

 

I'm wondering how the keys will look like... Maybe different colored crystals...

 

Maybe if you collect all 7 you can become super powered, glow yellow and fly around.

Maybe secret areas in the other missions will have them like Erchius mining facility secret area is a bit ancient looking now maybe there connected?

THE ANCIENTS DESTROYED EARTH![DOUBLEPOST=1436566920][/DOUBLEPOST]The first symbol shows the ancients controlling the universe, the second shows the ancients destroying planets such as EARTH, by the gate, there are statues of an ancient fighting some sort of giant monster with tentacles, (nothing with tentacles is good, might be final boss), the next symbol shows the same as the statues, and the last shows 6 figures, which might be celestial figures, which might have to be fought and defeated to get the six keys to unlock the doors! I GOT IT!!! I think he's confusing the Ancients with the tentacle monster(s).
The Ancients are the guys who fought the tentacle monster. The tentacle monster is what destroyed Earth. I'm making an educated guess when I say that neither the tentacle monster nor the Ancients are the missing race on the gate. The tentacle monster is a monster, not a race, and will most likely end up as a boss. The Ancients are likely extinct, however we know too little to say anything about them yet.

 

I think you're right, and the ancients banished the monster(s), and maybe the monster is the fifth race, because in the Ark, (mysterious ruin) It shows the being that destroyed earth, it had a circular symbol in the center that has a similar look to the symbols of the seven other races on the monolith gate.[DOUBLEPOST=1436666898][/DOUBLEPOST]I made a mistake when I said the ancients destroyed Earth.[DOUBLEPOST=1436667125][/DOUBLEPOST]In fact, if we're lucky, the ancients might actually help destroy the monster. and bustow, I don,t contradict you nor agree with you on the monster not being the last race, The monster is just one, but worthy of note.[DOUBLEPOST=1436667354][/DOUBLEPOST]I think the monster might be the tentacomet, and they'll change the image to match the statue in the Ark.

you have to get the six keys shown on the holograms and then the black hole will open to fight the tentacomet or what ever this is

the six keys will be in these planets i guess

Good idea Alexalu, but there are only five planets, maybe it just represents the system we need to go to, or was that what you were trying to say?

 

Also, in the Mines mission, I found a secret.

First of all, you can get under any 3 block tall hole by mashing S and the direction the hole is in.

Now, on to the secret. In the mines, right before the Crystal Boss, head to the left. You see a small gap in the wall. Mash S and A over and over again (it helps if you have the Energy Dash) until you get to the part where it goes to the right. Now, mash S and D over and over again until you fall into the room. Head to the left (loot the crates if you want to). The hidden letters are there. The trapdoor can't be opened for some reason. On the right, the door can be opened with the lever and you can use the glitch to get out of the doorway.

EDIT: I found 2 secret levers, flipped them. explored the entire area again, and the door had opened.

Hmmm... I see the message on the door have been "solved" but not the last "race" icon. I also can't believe this was not brought up yet!

The icon appears to be an eye. Now, one of the theory from the earlier posts was that the last race was corrupted, probably be mister big bad ugly tentacomet. I believe there might be more truth into this than it appear.

To explain, I want to bring you all back to the very first dungeon of the game, namely Erchius Mining Facility. Through the whole dungeon, we face monsters, which we progressively learn more about. It turns out that they are miners (among other people) that have been transformed. We learned further down that it's the boss that transformed them. Boss which has the appearance of..... A big eye in a crystal! Now the theory can split.

First path is the boss actually being one of the tentacle beast, trapped by the other big guys and that once freed resumed their corrupting ways.

Second path is that the boss IS part of the corrupted race, hideously mutated and is continuing their master's work.

All a theory, of course, but one we could look deeper in.
