Interesting find on the outpost. (Not sure if this has been discovered before)

I found something quite interesting while perusing around the outpost*cough*inthedungeonfiles*cough* and discovered a room that I hadn't seen before.

I haven't seen what the quest is yet.
I was wondering if anyone else had found this?

 

Someone posted about this a week or so ago, you get his mask if you give him climbing ropes so he can escape his unfortunate predicament.

It's a really cool little easter egg for those who get curious and decide to explore the whole Outpost asteroid though.

 

I honestly didn't even think of it until I saw it there.
all I did with my grapple hooks was mess around on asteroids then throw them in a box.

I heard there were more secrets around some of the quest worlds. Looking forward to finding more. ^ - ^

Yes, it has been found before.

Officially, I found it on December 22, 2014. But I didn't post it here for 6 days.
(Which is slightly longer than a week or so ago.)

The only other secret I know of is the cat in the lunar mission that requires targeted blink or a morph ball.

 

Yep, each dungeon quest world has hidden chests that have a complete vanity set relating to the setting.
That means that both the moon base and Floran party both have quite a few secrets for you to go find.

 

I have found the two sets of vanity in each, and I just found the Vicious mask in the Floran hunting grounds.

 

Have you found the... err... secret animal, shall we say?

edit: My subtlety was for nothing, someone else mentioned it already.

 

I hadn't found it myself, but I did hear talk of it in another thread.

 

Known as someone pointed out. This is one I may not get for a long time since I am not handy with that grappling hook. ><

Maybe eventually if I feel like torturing myself to use that device. Not too fond in using the grapple, even if a decent tool. Would be nice to have place-able rope for aesthetic purposes... Regardless this would be a feat to me...
