Listening to Canon in D, I forgot the very thing that got me into that song; episode 5 of Daily Lives of Highschool Boys, at the part "High School Boys and the Great Man's Biography". In this scene, one of the main characters reminisces about how he became who he is today by remembering a childhood hero who he admired. This character he admired whistled Pachbel's Canon after saving him from bullies as a kid, and after several years he revisits the location he was saved, only to hear his childhood hero; turns out it's the guy he's been friends with this whole time. My suggestion is simple; a whistle item that sounds like genuine whistling. Or, better yet; a whistling "item" that doesn't make you hold anything.
