instead of an item, a "black market" for the most rare and powerful?

i posted this before in a terraria forum and it did pretty well so i want to see how like this in starbound. the idea behind the "Black Market" is exactly what it sounds like, with a few special features. the traders will probably be located in a very old crashed ship or abandoned underground station with NO easy path to get there. they will also be very compact so it is hard to find them, but finding one allows you to find others a bit easier (note: a bit.) there is even more bad news if you find them while weak, they are protected by sentry guns and robots, as well as high level thieves looking for loot. because of these enemies the Black Market would only be found on level 90+ planets. the traders would sell items that are extremely difficult to craft or find, and sometimes the items they sell are impossible to find normally. and once you buy (i havent decided on a number or anything) a certain number of items they get suspicious and all disappear, leaving absolutely nothing behind.

This could be really cool if implemented as you say. Maybe a side quest could have you infiltrate the Black Market with the purpose of shutting it down & finding it causes all sorts of bruisers to try to kill you. I'm thinking it would be cool if the BM always changed locations within a single star system.

Oh yeah, that would make for an awesome side quest. *Takes down entire Black Market by oneself.* ACHIEVEMENT UNLOCKED.

Kind of a side idea based on this thread: What if (though X events) you join in the BM business? Over time, your goal would be work your way to the top, eliminating your competition, to the point of where you become the Head Master (or whatever they call it) of the BM.

The idea of them leaving makes it almost useless on non-friends only mulitplayer
