Hail Space Fans! Wouldn't it be great if over time you could discover clothing in Starbound inspired by the greats? Like what if you wanted to look a little like everyone's favorite browncoat. Or what if you wanted to stand in the command center of your own vast space station? Perhaps traveling in time was more to your speed? Whatever the reason, it would be wonderful if Chucklefish gave us over time costumes while not EXACTLY like these were close enough and given creative naming, would let folks know...I'm a fan of this. And anyway, who wouldn't want to walk around like someone from the 1970's? Do YOU have a favorite outfit from a show or series, game or movie, that would be perfect? That's my suggestion. Thoughts?
Given the nature of Starbound, one would assume many things that are already confirmed were based, maybe not even intentionally, off of Star Trek/Wars and other forms of Sci-Fi media. I mean, really, look at the Apex's starter clothes from the Character Creator. Look familiar, don't they? I'm not being negative here friend, merely stating my observations. Having said that, I think nods in the form of clothing are the least damning of all references. Which, to be clear, I'm for clever references.
