    Also, I noticed this before but forgot to mention it, but there's a couple of things off about the T1 armor.

    The headgear won't display when worn and the running animation for the parka looks. . .funky. The darkened spot under the collar pushes up over my Inkling's face.

    If you've already noticed it then don't mind me.

    The outfit itself looks incredible, though. Might put it in vanity or on a mannequin once I upgrade.

    *EDIT* Tried taking the items on and off just in case and apparently the headgear doesn't display but DOES cause a slight pixel difference in the shape of my tentacle style. Huh.

    I have no idea what's causing it to crash and I'm code-illiterate, but Starbound was working earlier so something in one of the mess of mods I downloaded must have gone wrong in an update. I figured I'd ask here and see if it was on your end or if you could tell me who to ask for help from if it wasn't.

    *EDIT* Nope, not your fault, I just checked the other suspect's thread and Frackin' Universe is melting down.

    The Tier 2 pants don't seem to be loading from what I can read, though. :p

    Can't wait until they get their problems sorted so I can try the new update out. ~ <3

    Trying to use the anvil is booting me back to the start screen with this error:

    Also, the Booyah Base shops require 10 Perfectly Generic Items to craft instead of lumber.

    Alright, time to test things out!

    There seems to be a single stray pixel floating in the air left over from my (Splatoon standard Inkling Girl style) tentacle arrangement's bangs when I wear the Squid Girl outfit.

    Also looking at the shops again, and Crusty Sean seems to be selling the White Headband. The Squid Sisters leg armor (both the Callie and Marie ones) have their item type referred to as "legarmor" when the other item descriptions have capitalization and the words separated out.

    These are really minor aesthetic things, of course, but I figured I'd let you know about them! This mod makes me run out in hype every time it gets an update, so I like to go over it and see if anything might be worth mentioning to you. ^^

    Also, as an idea for future content that just occurred to me, but with the way the Splattershot dyes your enemies, maybe later on down the road you could make other color variants for the weapons? Like a blue Splattershot or a green one. Heck, maybe it could be part of what Sheldon carries or something.

    Thank you kindly for testing! I'm super grateful for the help, my computer's a bit finicky with running 1.0 and that can cause problems.

    - I forgot about the White Headband, I realized he was selling that yesterday and forgot to fix it. :') A leftover from item templates, hehe.
    - The Squid Sisters outfits will be tweaked for consistency!
    - I'll take a look for stray pixels on the tier2 outfit!
    (These'll all probably be fixed in the next update.)

    That's a really cool idea about the Splattershot and its projectiles; I intend to have their tiered versions use different colors, but I could totally have Sheldon sell versions of the weapons that use different colors. It'll probably be Splattershots (pistols), the Splash/Sploosh-o-Matic line (machine pistols) and Splatlings (shotguns) that'll have the dye effect on their projectiles; other weapons like Blasters and Chargers (+ the eventual Squiffer/Bamboozler line that acts as an assault rifle) have their own unique projectiles.

    I'm really excited about weapons overall, there's a ton of diversity in Starbound's projectiles and ranged weapon mechanics that can be used for this mod!

    Could I possibly suggest altering the way the Splattershot's projectiles work? It seems a little too easy to accidentally splatter yourself with them, and it's making the Erchius Mining Facility a little bit of a pain.

    I'm with a group of friends, and no one's wanting inklings yet, so we're currently not using this, but the thought of the mod still amuses me. Looks great from pictures and such I've seen of it, though I'd consider larger 2x2-pixel eyes like some mods have been doing, where you can see the white/sclera. Emotes would need slight adjustment with it though.

    I suspect this one person was joking, but they said something along the lines of if there's no squid form, "0/10". Hehe.

    Would it be at all possible somehow to make up a squid form tech, maybe? I'm not sure where it'd be used though, unless you can figure out something regarding ink and those guns. It could possibly be based off one of the distortion sphere techs, maybe.

    ...I wish there was a slime variation of the spike sphere...

    I actually had no idea that you could hit yourself with the Splattershot projectiles. That'll be looked into in good time.
    If the paintball-styled projectiles can't be tweaked to avoid hitting oneself, I'll just adjust the muzzle location and hopefully that'll address the issue.

    I've definitely thought about making a tech that allows for true shapeshifting into a squid! I just know next to nothing about techs, so I haven't started on it yet: I was thinking it'd give drowning immunity, a swim boost, maybe poison immunity as well? Once I get tiered armor + weapons and the SAIL AI out of the way, I'll start looking at custom tech creation.
    It might operate like a boat or a submarine, or once I learn more about the distortion sphere techs, it could be based off of those. Again, we'll see; it's very possibly in the future, though!

    Now that you mention it, I could possibly make a Burst Bomb that spits out slime! I've already made ones that explode into lava and poison respectively, so I'll see if I can't rig up something like that for the next update. Slime's the closest thing to inkling ink, so having a more "harmless" Burst Bomb could be fun.

    Looking at the shop, it seems the inventory squares for the three new shirts are showing up blank. The full body previews are fine, it's just the inventory squares.

    Yup, the inventory squares are empty. Kind of spooky since without anything in them they outright disappear while you're carrying them. Everything else about the shirts is functioning A-OK, though.

    Also, re: shooting oneself with paintballs, that's apparently an issue with both forms of pistols. I had no idea it was possible to shoot oneself in the foot until now, it seems like a WeaponOffset issue. Still figuring that variable out, but I'll be sure to find a way so you can fire downwards with these weapons without hurting yourself.

    To-do list for the next update, mostly for my own reference:

    - Start on tier 3 weapons. Included will be the (reviled) Tentatek Splattershot, the Carbon Roller, the Kelp Splatterscope, the Permanent Inkbrush, and other fun stuff. Stats and abilities will be changed up to reflect the different weapon types. Splatlings will also be introduced in this tier, and will progress from the Heavy model into the Hydra model over time.
    Mini splatlings may or may not happen due to their similarity to pistol-type weapons.
    - Make more colors of glowsticks, fireworks, and flares that can all be crafted at the inkling crafting table.
    - Fancy up the crafting table sprite a bit more, I'm not happy with it.
    - Test tier 4 gear.
    - Plan out the three branching routes starting at tier 5.
    -- They'll be melee (brushes & rollers), quick ranged (pistols, machine pistols & squiffers), and tanky ranged (splatlings, chargers and blasters) respectively.
    As for their aesthetic, they'll be based off of the Agent, Octoling, and Samurai sets respectively.
    - More clothes, even though making shoes is my least favorite thing besides editing WeaponOffet values.
    - Possibly start work on custom AI animations. Yikes!


    Stuff that's done as of this post:

    - The "shooting yourself in the foot with ink shots" issue has been mostly mitigated. It's still possible, but shouldn't be as easy unless you're actively falling downwards and shooting at a specific angle, and should only be possible with the Splattershot and NZap/-o-Matic models. Sprite placement for these models has also been improved.
    - The Anchor Sweat was missing a sleeve, hilariously. It now has both sleeves.
    - Splat bombs and slime-filled burst bombs have been implemented! Splat bombs are kind of finicky to work with, their detonation time is shorter than suction bombs and they tend to bounce, so be careful with them. The good news is that they're probably the easiest explosive to make, so now you too can wipe out your enemies with bomb rushes.
    - Burst bombs now require you to make the slime-filled ones first before being able to craft the poison and lava ones.
    - Suction bombs will still fly in a hilariously straight line, because I think it's really funny and nobody's complained yet. Might be fixed later, might not be.
    - Blue glowsticks are now the starting glowstick recipe, since they're required for the Firefly Lantern and the tier 4 head armor.
