At least they're telling us the ETA of the Update and keeping us posted on what's happening rather then having us guess.

 

I have been creeping this forum for days. lol. I have literally read every post in this thing. So... I want to make it a point to mention that I am not complaining or anything like that.

I haven't been part of many betas at all really, but isn't the point of a beta for the community to do the testing and weed out the bugs? So that the Devs can look at reports and fix them as they come in? ... Or am I horribly mistaken?

Im actually glad that the devs are taking there time with this. Think about it. Every game that has a said "launch date" and all the hype that follows, turns out to be incomplete and or half the intended game. So i actually am excited that there are devs out there not being stressed or concerned about a launch/drop date.

 

Using reverse psychology it seems.

 

Getting antsy about the patch though. I need to be able to Farm again.. my freezers are empty and there's so many tasty people to cook up...

 

Sure it's nice that they keep us informed, I appreciate that. However, giving an ETA of an Update doesn't work if the ETA is continuously delayed Let us hope that this does not happen.

 

I agree! I don't want no half-appled game. I'm just extremely bored in my down time xP

 

My best guess is that some problem came up and they're waiting to give it to us until they have a functional product. I'll take that over being given a broken version, or maybe one that can't actually be the final character wipe.

I can't even play until this weekend, so that's fine for me regardless. I'll hope it's ready sometime Friday, I guess.

 

I certainly hope that you do not literally mean "every game", because there are few games that fail as you have posted Halo/Call of Duty haven't exactly bombed their releases (yes I know they are major games from major companies, but they are just examples that not "every hyped game" explodes)

 

Ahh... See I'm The opposite. I have most of Tuesdays and Thursdays with nothing to do. After that my week is full of school and 40 hours a week of work time. Curse needing a college education!

 

I'm sure they mean only a few of the big hyped games that were bug filled and broken like...Aliens: Colonial Marines...

Haha then there is Bethesda! Who I love dearly! But there games are always so buggy and make everyone so angry....

I never played that game, but I heard many MANY many many many tales of its failure. Ratings, rants, everything. Luckily a new one is being made!Alien: Isolation. It is a game of hiding and running rather than shooting. Pretty scary looking, you should look it up if you haven't heard of it.
