Has anyone ever come across this fairly-terrifying occurrence?

I came to this magma planet - level 10 - so I could finally put down some roots and build my base - came across an Apex science facility and thought to myself this would be the perfect spot, I'll just clear it out and make it my home......

Only, it wasn't any ordinary science-base... and it wasn't filled with a group of lame scientists, save a couple unfortunate souls. As I ventured further inside, the dread got thicker and I took some screenshots and got the hell out of there as fast as I could! Literally, went straight back to my ship and moved on to a totally different solar system!! TOO CREEPY!!!

I'd never seen it mentioned since the new patch (maybe?), so I'm posting it here:

Looks like WHATEVER there were doing in here got a liiiiittle out-of-hand........
    Infestation 01.jpg

There's some poor schmuck trapped inside some sort of glass cage/observatory... or maybe she trapped herself in there?
    Infestation 02.jpg

Whatever it was somehow hatches and escaped... but where is it now?!
    Infestation 03.jpg

The base has been overrun... All that's left are the ruins....

Would you settle here?! Count me out.

Doesn't seem like it is part of vanillia
Too many random assets used - also doesn't have the level of quality as their other dungeon assets

Agarans appear to be responsible. I see no evidence of modded objects. #agaranmenace

the pict have get out sign definitely by blood maybe agaran is the experiment that about apex lore "project incarcerus" when the lax scientist and the lab assistant try to combine apex with floran DNA "I've put in another call to Greenfinger. I know that Floran DNA is very malleable, and can be spliced rather easily. I need his permission to experiment on the Florans he sent, and knowing Greenfinger, he'll happily grant it. He is a brilliant, brilliant scientist however. I feel like a child fumbling in the dark in comparison. Within half a day, he had perfected a theoretical gene-splice between the Florans and the Apex, and constructed a plan for slow-burning experimentation." from starbounder wiki lore sory for my poor english

You are very correct. No such dungeon like this is existent, and either the author is using a mod, has very good modding skills, or built it in his spare time.
    Sorry to break the news.
That television just gave it away.
And I don't think that is a magma planet (although you could have been in a magma minibiome)

Author is fake and stuff, I could build a fake dungeon in my spare time, in fact I already have.

It would be a rather neat dungeon though

This looks like a lab for the ones investigating the Ape Flu. After all, those Apex in the first pic were Ape Flu victims.
Add in creepy, disgusting things like flesh and pods everywhere, you got yourself a lab with a terrible disease outbreak.

Awww, @Serenity, @DarkNovakid, @hiul, @Wulf_Oman, and @Dargona1018 - thanks for role-playing with me! I know its not the best dungeon out there, but it seemed to me that NO ONE had ever touched on an encounter like this before, and I thought it would be fun to run across somewhere in the galaxy!!!

ALL THOSE HUGE, QUESTIONABLE LABS, and not one experiment gone awry? Anyone think I should put it in the suggestions page? Let me know if anyone would think it'd be cool to find!!!

Sounds like a cool idea, just put in more Agarans, and maybe some Avians now that we've seen that new Agaran Menace update.

If you read the comments, you would know that we have said multiple times that this was made by a builder.
Please read the comments before you post, unless there are over 20 pages.

OOC: Nice build. Looks pretty overran by science gone wrong.

IC: Well then, Evacuations may be in order.

I would be totally in for a fleshy / tainted biome alongside with fitting fauna and flora. Even if its a mod, it still looks cool!

... If that's how barf looks like then the giant should make a visit to the nearest witch doctor ASAP. Barfing what seems to be your own entrails is never a good thing. Unless he ate a lot of tomato jam, then its ok.
