I'm an avid and somewhat obsessive fan of Minecraft! It has occupied many a night since its alpha release, but now...oh my...wow, starbound! I think I have found my new obsession. I'm now really excited for the future of its development and cannot wait for its improvements. But...will Minecraft forgive me, for shunning him so bluntly and aggressively when something new and exciting comes my way? Will I ever look at Minecraft again in the same way as starbound? What about you, are you the same as me, or now devoting everything for starbounds enivitable rise? I would love to hear what you think! To the devs, I thank you, for finally giving me hope for a future of unlimited gameplay without a linear story!

Same, also with Terraria. I already like Starbound more and the other two big guys are forgotten.

I have never tried minecraft, but Terraria was and still is pretty good (I will probably go back to Terraria a few times as it updates and while Starbound is rolling through its beta. At the moment I will have to say that Terraria is still better than Starbound by quite a margin because of its content. Starbound, however, has a much greater potential to be many times better.

You should give Minecraft a go Sorya, but if your more of a side scroller gamer, then Minecraft may not be for ya! I played a bit of terraria with my wife and I found it okies, but I never made anything other than a box room underground with all my loot and that it lol! For me building wise, Minecraft win hands down. For expanse and further game development, starbound is the FTW!
