not really hostile unless you're adding TONE to text :/ especially since I haven't added any exclamation marks in my post. and in response to sooooo you mean it's fair for me NOT to get artwork AT ALL just because I ask for the same thing from different people? so I'm no longer allowed to have artwork is what you're saying just because i want the same thing :/ okay I'm friends with people that don't start issues with me. I haven't done anything to antagonize anybody and I haven't been hostile to anybody neither so yeah.
euh I don't know what post you read, but it sure wasn't mine ... I never said you shouldn't get artwork, nor did I say you can't ask for it in every thread or to every artist. I only said why whatshisname might come up with that question of his, since you asked why it would be any of his busyness. As in "a possible reason for him to be asking that".
I did read it...I'm just replying in the fact that you think a question like that is legitimate. if I'm not doing anything wrong or antagonizing anybody then why does somebody have to start something? and especially in the very thread where I'm requesting? if you REALLY have an issue with it then you're free to message me in my profile. but when you have to ask a question like that in the thread and have two staff members jumping in to add to it then all we end up doing is cluttering up a thread that wasn't even meant for arguing but for artwork. know what i mean? I can understand fetal coming in to respond because she just has a general problem with me but I didn't expect you to put in input...was expecting you to suggest us to either inbox or profile message each other or something.
No offense man, but it did come across hostile. His question was legit & only one sentence. "why are you requesting the same thing on every thread?" Your response probably could have done without "Why do you care?" "Does it affect you in anyway?" & "Does it offend you?" No one ever said anything about being offended, he just wanted to know why request from multiple people. I'm not jumping on your back here, trust me. I did the same thing but no one seemed curious as to why I was doing what I was doing. I first requested a signature with different photos of the Observer from NeKo, then a Starbound like sprite of the Observer from Kjulo to go to the left of the Nebula Team logo, another Starbound like sprite of the Observer but from the torso up with a background & different object in hand from NaturallyMade for an avatar & finally a sprite of the Observer from imperishable in his own special style to go on the right of the Nebula Team logo. I requested those because I know everyone has different perspectives & styles. I thought it'd be fun to have different looking versions of the same character. This request is my last so once it's complete my signature is as well. I don't see anyone who has an issue, more just trying to understand why someone would want to request the same thing from different people. Hopefully my post offering my reasons & point of view will shed some light.
to be honest, again, it's more of an issue about this thread now being cluttered with responses about that very question instead of us discussing and appreciating the art...which is what this thread's TRUE purpose is for. if he really wanted to know so bad he could have just messaged me in my profile or something. but instead now we have all this cluttering up the thread :/
