Imagine a weapon :D

I would like a small deployable sentry with a camera on it that eats ammo like it's candy but can defend you while you are digging/farming/researching/plotting to kill your friends.
[of course though if you do not pick it up you WILL lose it.]

 

I love the Armed and Dangerous' Weapons. The Land Shark Gun was awesome !

 

Drones... sorta like the Tau from 40k. Follow you around, and maybe have some different types. There could be sniper drones, melee drones, shotgun, etc, etc...

 

A claw gun, collect ammo from different ammo like crabs, lobsters, scorpions etc. Then make a launcher that will shoot those claws and depending on what animal it came from will determine the effects like damage, range, effects e.g poison.

either that or a gun that shoots guns .-.

 

A penguin army. Or a penguin launcher.. OR A PENGUIN ANYTHING..
or this thing made into something deadly

D.B.R. mkII - Drone Beam Rifle
This rifle has a high tech look to it and has a small hover drone attached to it. When the trigger on the gun is pulled it doesn't immediately fire, instead it starts charging a powerful beam(while draining your energy) and the drone is detached and flies up above your head. While charging the drone covers you with a weak movement slowing shot to keep enemies away from you, once the charge is finished it can be safely stored for up to a minute by holding the trigger. After a minute a rapidly increasing chance for overload(small explosion/weapon disable for a short time) builds up. When fired the beam can pierce most materials when focused on a single spot, a good way for bunker busting or a very wasteful way to dig a tunnel. Annihilates all but the most heavily armored/evasive creatures.

If you wonder why its at MkII, well, the first version's drone had an IFF recognition problem and would often shoot allies or the wielder of the gun(possible to find this gun as a "cursed" weapon).

 

Something like the Demomans Stickybomb launcher.

A rapier with both stabbing and swiping (stab as alt fire) attacks. Would've probably requested for it to be readily available as well.

 

Okay so a weapon i would love too see in the game would be a Tesla coil kinda thing, it could look like something similar to a flamethrower but instead of fire a current of electricity would hit the enemy in waves, also there should be an actual tesla coil on it purely for cosmetics though, that would be fucking rad.

 

Okay, here's my weapon. Actually, might not even really be considered a weapon, maybe more like a tool?

It's a gun (or tool of sorts) that shoots out a spider's web. The web can be used to trap small enemies, slow down slightly larger enemies (extremely large enemies would likely be unaffected) and can be used as a means for the player to climb. The web can be destroyed by being slashed, burned or any other logical means of destroying it.

I think it'd be awesome to lay some webs down in areas as small creature traps, go do your thing for 10 minutes or so, then come back and check on your webs to see what small animals have been caught.

 

For some reason i can just imagine a Floran using this to trap unsuspecting Fleshlings.

 

is popular now insert bows in the games (because is funny,badass and silent).
but isnt fair use arrows agaist sci-fi weapons...so lets do a little upgrade...
