Imagine a weapon :D

I'd like to suggest anything from borderlands 2, other than that i'd like to see some kind of high-power long range sniper. Like a .50Cal

Are you proposing a randomly generated weapon in a game where weapons are proceduraly generated ??

 

Clearly a Twisted Fate reference from League of Legends, but close.

Honestly I'd love to see a Dual Sided Scythe. Like Darth Maul but replace each end with a scythe facing the opposite way from each other. Or a big shield. I don't know if they said they would implement shields in yet, but I really hope they implement shields that use energy to block instead of attack so someone can effectively "tank" enemies. A Mirror-like shield would be cool if also while blocking it reflected a portion of the damage back as a projectile.

 

I'm proposing that they make badass fiery shotguns that get more accurate as you shoot them or acidic LMG's that shoot rockets. You know, just another day on pandora.

 

Well here is a description of my gun, it would be cool if I found someone to draw it.

Pelistorm(Pelican gun)

It's a grendade launcher the the avians use and it shoots like the the Brute shot from Halo.

The front is a pelicans beak that opens to shoot and the back is the trigger and a white body to make the gun look like a pelican.

The Peli troopers of the Avians use these, they look like humanoid pelicans.

Going to post what i posted in a different thread, some weapons from UT99




it was mainly used for transportation but if you manage to hit the alternate fire (you use that to transport to the locator) when something was on it, they would instantly be blown to bits (telefrag).




The ASMD in the second video had a very interesting alternative fire mechanism.

1. Shoots a laser beam of sorts
2. shoots a ball
3. creates an explosion if you hit the ball with your laser

The bio blaster chugged green glowing balls that would damage on impact and also stick on surfaces. The alternate fire was a charge mechanism (you can actually hear the weapon sucking up the goo from the tanks) that shot a large blob that exploded into smaller ones when it hit a surface leaving a somewhat smaller blob in the middle of where it hit



The redeemer was armed with a single nuclear warhead that could either be fired as a slow moving missile that went straight ahead or the alternative method of taking control of the missile guiding it to where you wanted it to blow stuff up



UT99 had some great weapon (bio blaster, ripper, 6 rocket rocket launcher, redeemer and the impact hammer)



look at around 1:55 for a telepunt (you punt the locator by hitting it with your fully charged impact hammer)

 

A gun of ultimate randomness - with every shot it can fires a different projectile, taken from the games entire projectile list.

 

Well I think that's can be interesting to ddevelop this idea :O could be fun ingame x)

 

A gun that shoots turtles. Yup......a Turtle Gun.

 

Portal gun, rail gun, fart gun & piranha gun. (The ast two from Dispicable Me)

 

keyblade. really, that's all i want to see as a melee weapon even though other weapons are also nice.

 

Maybe we could do kickstarter like project !

Prism gun, rotating barrel projects different wavelength beams that deal either little or much depending of the enemy it hits.
Full color changing spectre takes around 2 second until starts over.

I could imagine a Big bloody axe to kill hundreds of zombies
Like this:

 

1. A sniper sword, long elegant katana or longsword style, with a sniper scope on one edge near the hilt, this would be both accurate rifle and lethal mele weapon.

2. a predator style disc that you throw out and it returns to you boomerang style after inflicting lots of damage, maybe with different modes like electric or heat.

3. a grapple gun with 2 modes, the first pulls objects towards you when they are shot, the second entangles enemies slowing or stopping them.

4. a sonic field weapon that projects a cone of sound that gets louder and more debilitating the closer an enemy gets to the source ie. you. this would "scare" enemies away, or kill them if they keep coming or are trapped.

5. a singularity ray, that once focused on a spot for a few seconds, generates a small black hole that sucks in enemies nearby for a few seconds before closing again.

 

A chick launcher that launches ladies
Mainly for complete randomness.
For a more serious weapon, I'd have a turret launcher or something.
